The question of why comes down to this-
We didn’t have the funding to continue doing rad shit. Not a failure or a loss. Just business.
We struggled, scraped and made it happen in our own place for a year! We helped so many people drive safely and reliably!
We mentored a remarkable group of amazing young people, who turned around and made us proud in ways that we never thought possible!
Our CV of amazing young volunteers includes Nuke submariners, city employees, Marines, Small business owners and above all, THOUSANDS OF HOURS OF DONATED LABOR on the backs of these incredible kids.
We’ve handed out thousands of dollars worth of tools, that these young people will undoubtedly use to make their lives better.
We’ve made thousands of friends we call our Hard Luck Family.
Our next chapter isn’t written yet, but you can’t just devote every waking second to making something like this successful and then the next week just sit watch your chickens peck.
